There is a position for one PhD student (with a full scholarship), starting as early as Fall 2025.
We have positions for a PhD student (August 2025 intake) with full scholarship and two postdoctoral research fellows (starting January 2025). Please apply by 31 December 2024.

One postdoc will focus on the experimental study of bacterial colony mechanics and will be co-supervised by Prof. K. Jimmy Hsia in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NTU. The other postdoc will concentrate on modeling, data processing, and numerical simulations and will be co-supervised by Prof. Massimo Pica Ciamarra in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at NTU. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in biophysics, soft matter physics, solid/fluid mechanics, microscopy, and data science.
Requirements for PhD applicants:

A competitive GPA.

Candidates from non-English-speaking countries need a good TOEFL or IELTS score. A GRE score is preferred.
